ASOCIA Executives, a privately-held, executive search firm based in Atlanta, GA, recently launched an initiative – Women To Boards- to help promote more women into board roles for leading corporations.

ASOCIA Executives works with Fortune 500 companies to identify and place qualified females Directors for their boards. “This initiative is one we are very passionate about at ASOCIA Executives, as we are woman-owned enterprise, and most of our staff are females who are former corporate executives.” According to Cynthia Coker, CEO of Asocia. “We have developed a database of highly qualified women candidates across the US and internationally who are seeking director opportunities on boards. We will provide services on an international level and across all industries. We also offer mentor programs for women seeking boards positions.” Ms. Coker adds,”Less than 50% of Georgia’s public companies have women on their boards.The total percentage of (women) directors is less than 9 percent and less than 2 percent of women of color. We have our work cut out for us here in our home base and internationally as well.”
